11:00-Noon, Saturday, October 24th
Join FRC in thanking Zorro and wishing him all the best as he leaves to begin his well-earned retirement. We'll celebrate in style, with pizza, cake and horse treats in the Member Lounge and the Upper Barn from 11:00 to noon on Saturday, October 24th. This event is free and open to all.
DE-SPOOKING CLINIC
9:00-11:00, Saturday, October 31st
Kick off Halloween with FRC's De-Spooking Clinic from 9:00 until 11:00. Our indoor arena will be transformed into a House of Horse Horrors, where riders can help their equine partners learn to be brave in the face of plastic bags, smoke, hoses, puddles, banners, tarps, bridges and all the other terrors that lurk around every corner. The clinic will begin with gentle, rider-led, unmounted exposure to various stimuli, followed by mounted exposure for riders (and horses) who feel confident in taking the next step. Member cost: $45 with your horse, $60 with ours. Nonmember cost: $75 with your horse. Proof of UTD Coggins required for haul-ins. Auditors welcome at no charge. Call or email to reserve your spot.
HORSE & RIDER COSTUME CONTEST
11:00-Noon, Saturday, October 31st

We won't have any tricks, but there will be treats - and prizes! Member cost: $10 with your horse, $25 with ours. Nonmember cost: $25 with your horse. Proof of UTD Coggins required for haul-ins. Call or email to reserve your spot - and be sure to invite family and friends to cheer you on!
