Frenchtown Riding Club offers a full calendar of events, designed to reflect the many aspects of the equestrian experience and satisfy the diverse interests of its members


Recent events have included a cookout with games and live music; trick-or-treating with the horses; a sunset campfire with hotdogs and marshmallows; a holiday photo event with Santa; an veterminary first aid clinic and luncheon; a Valentine's ride; family movie night in the barn with the horses; a spring gardening day with live music and refreshments; an off-site trail ride on Clydesdales; a Kentucky Derby viewing party; a family campout; trivia night; Teach a Friend to Ride Day; schooling shows; Kids' Night Out; A Day at the Barn one-day camp; and equestrian fitness training classes.

Sunday, March 10th and 24th, from 3:00  to 4:00 p.m.

A fit rider is a better rider. Red Truck Trainingin conjunction with Frenchtown Riding Club, will continue its series of one-hour Equestrian Fitness Classes at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 10th and 24th. Although this mat class is specifically geared toward riders, nonriders will also benefit and are welcome to participate. This event is free to FRC members and just $20 per class for nonmembers. Advance registration is recommended, but not required. Email or phone us to reserve your spot now. Participants should wear workout clothing and bring a yoga mat and a water bottle.


Saturday, March 9th, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The best way to watch a horse movie? In the barn with the horses, of course! So put on your PJs if you like, grab a blanket, and head on over to the barn at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9th, to watch Racing Stripes. We'll have hot cocoa, soft drinks, popcorn and snacks. The cost is $5 for members and $10 for nonmembers, including refreshments. Space is limited, so call or email us today to get your tickets or purchase online here.

Friday, March 15th, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Join us Friday, March 15th, for an exciting day of riding lessons

and horse care, mounted and unmounted games, arts and crafts,

fresh air and exercise, new friends and experiences. Appropriate

for both experienced riders and first timers, aged five and up.

Half-day session: 9:00-noon, $75 for FRC members, $100 per

nonmember. Full-day session: 9:00-3:00, $125 for FRC members,

$150 per nonmember, including lunch. Advance registration required.


Sunday, March 17th, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Help us spread some green this St. Patrick's Day. Schedule a riding lesson and choose your cause: Riding with HEART or Baling Twine & Hope. Take a half-hour private riding lesson for $60 plus tax and we'll donat $30. Take a full-hour lesson for $110 plus tax and we'll donate $60. Call or email us to schedule your lesson now!
