AFTER SCHOOL RIDING PROGRAM
Frenchtown Riding Club’s After School Riding Program offers your child a daily riding lesson and hands-on experience in all facets of horse care, plus an afternoon snack, help with homework, games and activities, fresh air, exercise, new skills and experiences, and a chance to make new friends, from 3:00 till 6:00, Monday through Friday, for just $300 per week or $60 per day, excluding optional transportation.
Daily 30-minute group riding lessons are geared to each participant’s level of experience and competency and include a variety of mounted games, in addition to traditional hunter/jumper and dressage instruction. Upgrade any group lesson to a private lesson for just $40.
Riding instruction is conducted by experienced, USEF-certified riding instructors in our airy 80’x200’ indoor arena.
Childcare and homework are supervised by an experienced, NJDOE-certifed educator.
Riding instructors and childcare supervisor are certified in first aid, CPR and AED by the AHA. Riding instructors are also SafeSport-certified by the USEF.
The cost of enrollment is based upon a five-day week (shorter school weeks are prorated at $60 per day) and includes a daily snack and beverage, plus a wide range of supplemental, non-riding activities to keep everyone engaged and entertained.
This program is designed for students in grades one through twelve, from novice through advanced riding levels.

Students get the full horse experience, via immersive, hands-on lessons in all facets of care, including grooming and bathing; tacking; haying, graining, and watering; turning in and out; cleaning stalls, buckets, and tack; and opportunities to observe vets, farriers, trainers, and other equine professionals in action.
